Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. The 21st ASM CPathAMM 2026 Organizing Committee warmly invites colleagues from both local and international communities to submit their research abstracts or case reports for oral or poster presentations.
  2. All abstracts must be submitted through the Online Submission System (please click the blue ‘Abstract Submission’ button below).
  3. Each submission will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee, and the presentation type may be changed based on their evaluation.
  4. Kindly note that abstract submission does not constitute congress registration.
  5. Presenters are required to complete their registration before an abstract submission.
  6. Before submission, please take a moment to carefully read the abstract submission guidelines.

Submission Rules 

Submission & Notification

  1. All abstracts must be submitted along with the registration confirmation slip via the following link:
  2. Submitted abstract will be acknowledged through email within THREE (3) working days upon receipt.
  3. Please contact the abstract committee if you do not receive the acknowledgement email.
  4. All abstracts will be evaluated against Originality, Study Design, Study Quality, Statistical Methods, Ethical Issues, Content, and Importance/Relevance by the Scientific Committee.
  5. Authors have the option of choosing their presentation type (oral presentation or poster presentation). However, the scientific program
    committee will make the final decision after review.
  6. All presenting authors must register for the conference.
  7. If you are selected for an oral presentation, you are advised to refer to the oral presentation guidelines. The e-poster should be submitted in PDF format.
  8. Further details regarding e-poster and oral presentations will be provided via email once finalised by the committee.
  9. Judges' decisions are final.
  10. All the accepted abstracts will be published in THE MALAYSIAN JOURNAL OF PATHOLOGY (MJPath, Scopus, WOS). Therefore, submission of abstracts constitutes the authors’ consent for publication of abstracts.
  11. The abstracts must be submitted under one of the following sections:
    -ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY (AP)
    -FORENSIC PATHOLOGY (FP)
    -HAEMATOLOGY (HM)
    -TRANSFUSION MEDICINE (TM)
    -CHEMICAL PATHOLOGY (CP)
    -MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY (MM)
    -MEDICAL GENETICS (MG)
    -IMMUNOLOGY (IM)
  12. Abstract Withdrawal: If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by 10th May 2026 the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.

 Best Oral And Poster Awards 

  • The top three shortlisted oral presentations will receive awards for the First, Second, and Third Best Oral Presentations, which will be announced during the Closing Ceremony.

  • For the e-Poster category, the Congress will also present awards for the First, Second, and Third Best Posters. Presenters featured in the Best Poster Sessions are eligible for these awards.

 Poster Presentation 

E-Poster Specifications:

  • Orientation: Portrait (to match TV screen)
  • Aspect Ratio: 9:16
  • Common resolutions
    • 1080×1920 (Full HD vertical)
    • 720×1280 (HD vertical
  • File Format: JPEG, PNG, or PDF (high quality)
  • Font Size:
    • Titles: 20–40 pt
    • Body text: 14–18 pt (legible from a distance)

         Oral Presentation 

        • Each presentation is allocated 10 minutes. (8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes Q&A)

        • Each presentation will be judged based on these criteria: Knowledge of Content, Structure & Flow, Slide Design & Visuals, Delivery & Communication, Time Management, Handling Questions, Scientific Value, Professionalism & Preparedness
